Held every year in New Orleans, the show attracts 15,000 members of the commercial marine industry, who come together from around the world to network, learn, spot new industry trends, and uncover innovative products and solutions.

he Mississippi Valley Trade & Transport Council will once again host the 38th Annual Mississippi Valley Trade & Transport Conference on February 19-20 2020. The conference will be held at the Omni Royal Orleans in the New Orleans French Quarter.

Panelists will discuss various topics including river statistics, port updates and commodities.

Breakbulk Americas, the region’s largest trade event for the project cargo and breakbulk industry, will return to the George R. Brown Center in Houston, Sept. 28-30 this fall, making it the first Breakbulk event to open its doors to the community since the shutdown of March 2020.

Enthusiasm and interest in the show is running high. Breakbulk Americas will welcome back global sector leaders, as well many newcomers, both groups eager to capitalize on the benefits of being at the forefront of our industry’s recovery.

Our operations team continues to monitor the COVID situation in the U.S., Canada and Latin America, as well as the rest of the world. They are working closely with the City of Houston and the George R. Brown Convention Center to make sure that this is a safe experience for all.
